ENHANCING YOUTH EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE BLUE ECONOMY

Toolkit iSkills (TTI) Ltd is currently one of Kenya’s leading trainer for welding artisans with many of them having attained international standard grades and are deployed to Global companies in Kenya and in other countries within the region such as Zambia, Mozambique, Uganda, and Rwanda. To date, we have over 2,000 TTI trained and certified artisans in scaffolding, painting, electrical engineering and plumbing who are deployed in various companies and industries for internship/employment. Recently 15 of these artisans secured employment with international cruise ship companies.

The vision and mission of the TTI are to create a critical and reliable workforce in Africa by transforming the lives of young men and women  Thousands of youth lack educational and employment opportunities and are wasting away in their numbers. TTI has partnered with key stakeholders in the construction, blue economy and oil & gas industries to transform unskilled youth into skilled and resourceful workers with globally competitive skills.
